On the most beautiful day in Hoboken, New Jersey I joined Bria for her bridal shower at Halifax. This restaurant was a photographer’s heaven — floor-to-ceiling windows featuring TONS of natural lighting, yes, please! Everything about Bria’s bridal shower was breathtaking. I seriously never knew a bridal shower could be THIS glamorous. I was in awe walking around the restaurant capturing the details and soaking in the beautiful touches: floral installations, glowing candles, Rose Sec party favors, Petite Fours individually wrapped, and adorable invitations that matched the aesthetic. There wasn’t one detail forgotten, everything had been touched with perfection and suited Bria perfectly.
Spoiler Alert: Bria already married her babe, Kevin, on July 9th, 2022. But, I can’t help myself… I just loved this bridal shower so much that I HAVE to give it its very own moment on the blog! When Bria invited me to photograph her bridal shower I was thrilled and so much warmth filled my heart. I was SO excited, I originally met Bria and Kevin last summer while in NYC for a retreat and have been dying to capture photos of them again. I can still remember when we met perfectly, I was searching for a couple to photograph during an editorial and that’s when we linked up. I absolutely loved them, we clicked instantly! It was so nice catching up and seeing these two again. Bria and Kevin are such an incredibly kind couple and I was just happy to be there to support their love.
Brunch Details
The party kept going and the champagne kept flowing as everyone enjoyed a multi-course sit-down brunch. Bria was accompanied by her dearest friends, mothers, aunts, grandmothers, and sister. It was such a sweet day and I am SO thankful she asked me to be a part of it. I was thrilled when she asked me to photograph it for her but had no idea what to expect, this ended up being such a fun day and fun event to capture! Everything about this bridal shower was beautiful, bright, and full of love.
While the day was 100% about Bria, Kevin did make the infamous “Groom’s appearance” at the shower towards the end, and he didn’t come empty-handed. Kevin is incredibly thoughtful and brought flowers for his mom, future mother-in-law, and of course for Bria! Adorableeeee. Before the fun and games began Bria and Kevin made their rounds thanking each guest individually and showering them with love. The girls kicked Kevin out and that’s when the fun really started! Katie (Kevin’s sister) brought Bria into the middle of the room. She sat down and watched all her friends and family guess who said “I Love You” first and guess “what’s their favorite thing about you.” Kevin and Bria both had such different answers and it made the entire room fill with more love and laughter! It was clear that everyone in that room was just bursting with love for Kevin and Bria and their relationship.
Bria’s bridal shower hands down is one of the prettiest bridal showers I have ever been to, thanks to the incredible floral design and decor as well as the love that filled the air. When you’re in a space like this and feel that love… it’s unstoppable. I was SO joyful and the day flew by so fast — I wanted it to keep going!
