Breaking News: fairytales DO happen in real life! If you don’t believe me, Sabrina and Justin are the perfect example. These two are the most adorable couple and share a strong and timeless love. I was so honored to be a part of their Beverly Hills wedding day, it was next-level gorgeous!
I think Sabrina and Justin are my client soulmates. From the initial discovery call to the wedding day they have been absolutely wonderful. I have adored the opportunity to get to know them and love that we still keep in touch to this day! During our initial call, Sabrina shared that she wasn’t entirely sure about their wedding plans. The only thing she knew for sure was that they wanted me to photograph their wedding – ummm honored!
Sabrina and Justin’s wedding ended up being one of the best things I’ve ever photographed. And as a bonus, these two are beyond kind, loving, and so freaking fun! Their wedding day included everything from a romantic garden ceremony to an official after party at the coolest bar.
Getting Ready
Let’s dive into this dreamy day now, shall we?! To kick off the morning, Sabrina and her bridesmaids got ready in their hotel room with glasses of bubbly and wide smiles. Watching the girls twirl in their dresses and admire each other was so sweet! You could tell from the energy in the room that they all were so happy for Sabrina. Meanwhile, in the men’s hotel room, Justin slipped into his black tux while the guys helped him accessorize with a bowtie and chic watch.
Their Luxurious Wedding Venue
Sabrina and Justin’s intimate Beverly Hills wedding took place at Greystone Mansion in California. The mansion offers multiple settings for couples to celebrate their union in luxury. The moment you step on-site you feel as though you have been transported to an old English countryside home. The landscaping is lush and tall, enclosing the property to provide a private experience. From a ceremony in the Formal Garden to a reception in the Courtyard (all featuring a taste of old Hollywood glamour) this venue was the perfect setting for Sabrina and Justin’s intimate wedding day. I’m still gushing over how the lighting crept through the tall evergreen trees and highlighted Sabrina and Justin’s bridal shots with a soft glow. Truly the Californian dream!
Greystone Mansion may be one of the most beautiful locations ever for a wedding ceremony. The romantic and timeless feel of the Formal Garden was the perfect setting for Sabrina and Justin to say I do. They shared their vows in front of their closest friends and family, the gardens grand fountain acting as their altar. I was obsessed with how Sabrina and Justin offered guests vintage sun umbrellas, it made everything feel so elegant! After the ceremony guests were invited to join Sabrina and Justin in the courtyard for a wonderful dinner and reception. Soft peach, ivory, and pale yellow florals decorated the community-style tables and provided an organic, earthy touch. Dinner, speeches, champagne, and the cake had guests feeling overjoyed! It was a beautiful reception and as the sun set over Southern California the party was just getting started.
The Lively After Party
If you can’t tell, I loved every part of their wedding day! However, I think my absolute favorite part was the after party. Sabrina and Justin booked out a legendary small bar that had wrap-around booths and fit their 75 guests perfectly. Everyone was living their best lives drinking delicious martinis and snacking on some damn good pizza. In the back Sabrina and Justin had a cigar bar set up and guests truly were living life to the fullest! It was SO much fun and honestly the coolest idea. Who says receptions have to end at the grand send-off? I am SO team after party!
To this day we still talk like good friends and I just love them as humans. They really did have one of the dreamiest weddings I’ve ever witnessed. I loved their journey, their story, and them so much and they deserve all the love and happiness in the world.
